  • In 2021–22, Ezhamkulam Grama Panchayat received recognition from the Kollam Coir Project Officer for the effective implementation of the Coir Geotextile Scheme.
  • In 2023–24, Ezhamkulam Grama Panchayat secured First Place in Pathanamthitta District for the outstanding implementation of the Coir Geotextile Matting Scheme (Coir Bhoovastra Vithana Project), demonstrating excellence in the use and promotion of coir-based soil conservation and environmental protection initiatives.
